April 2014, saw the inception of SpacePath Communications (SpacePath). Based in the UK, 45 mins west of London Heathrow airport, the Company specialises in the design and manufacture of ground-based amplifiers that boost signals from earth to space.  With the boom in satellite services and the interest in getting back to the Moon and beyond, the market for high-tech space related products is growing at a rapid rate and SpacePath has unique technology in the field of high frequency, high power amplifiers & sub-systems. 

With a focus on product innovation, driven by the real-world needs of its customers, SpacePath provides power solutions to system integrators and satellite operators in over 35 countries, with an installed base of over 6,000 amplifiers. For post-sales support, the Company has established a service partner network that spans the globe. 

Some of the milestones over the decade:

• - April 2014 Acquisition of the Stellar range of amplifiers 

• - Sept 2017 Agreement to acquire TangoWave (U.S)  3rd Gen amplifier designs

• - October 2018 Launch of high power Ka Band amplifiers & subsystems

• - January 2023 U.S repair facility established in Ft Worth TX

• - March 2024 Launch of complete portfolio of millimeter wave amplifiers to meet growing market for broadband applications

The founders and management team of SpacePath have decades of experience, having held leadership positions in key industry organisations: CPI/Varian, E2V, Vislink and Comtech/Xicom.  With their combined experience and with a deep understanding of changing customer needs, has yielded the development and production of a third-generation family of high power amplifiers which are significantly smaller and lighter than existing products on the market, helping us to communicate with satellites around the globe.

The company’s next chapter is on the expansion of their presence across the North American market, pursuing the large global satellite users and customers within commercial and military applications.
